I’m travelling in Jackson for a few more days, and stopped by the Farmer’s market this morning in the town square. Most of the veggies come from Idaho, as this part of Western Wyoming is not hospitable to growing much produce.
Someone mentioned that the growing season is so short that the Farmer’s Almanac lists the last day of frost as July 30, and the first day of frost as August 2!
There are a few farmers with small operation here though and this arugula is from one of them.
There was also some great looking Cukes, and Mushrooms!
